Are the Dawgs Satisfied with an Extremely Sloppy Win in Week Four?

The Georgia Bulldogs mounted an aggressive defensive onslaught against Oklahoma today and finished with a 41–13 score.

The scoreboard says domination, but anyone watching this game knows OU imploded in the first half and handed Georgia multiple opportunities to run up the score.

Offensively, the Dawgs had sparks with Bowens’ 2 TDs and Talyn Taylor hitting the box score with 110 receiving yards. The offense looked lost in the passing game outside of a few plays, and the line struggled to open up interior run lanes.

Quarterback Gunner Stockton turned in what we would consider a lackluster performance, completing 56% of his passes with zero rushing yards. He did throw an interception, but the pass was tipped, so I don’t even truly fault him there.

This game was carried on the shoulders of the defense, and luckily the burden was not too much to bear.

Chris Cole came out swinging once again with 8 tackles, including a sack and an 85-yard fumble return for a touchdown.

Bottom Line: The Georgia Bulldogs have plenty of talent to be the best team in the country. They are nowhere near that standard yet. Yes, a win is great, but the way the schedule is looking right now, we have much bigger fish to fry down the road.
